COVID-19 Roofing Procedures

Thank you for considering Pacific West Roofing for your roof project. As our country works through the current situation with COVID-19, we want to ensure all of our current and future customers that we are taking the highest priority on safety and cleanliness during this time. Please read our statement below on the actions we are taking in order to accommodate distancing for a safer working environment.

Contacting – Pacific West Roofing offers over the phone discussions to find out what your roofing needs are. Once these have been identified, we will schedule one of our professional sales technicians to evaluate your building or home. On the day of your appointment the sales tech will notify you via phone or text message upon arrival instead of approaching your front door.

If we need access to the roof from inside the building or house, we will take all necessary precautions that the CDC recommends for cleaning, disinfecting and distancing.

Estimating– Once our sales technician obtains all of the necessary information to price your roof, we will contact you with our recommended options to resolve your roofing issues. Virtual Zoom meetings are also an option to discuss your roofing project with our sales team. The proposal will be emailed to you with information on the roofing systems we recommend.

Contract & Deposit– If you decide to move forward with our proposal, we offer electronic signatures through DocuSign and do not need to meet in person. If you prefer a mailed copy, we are happy to send a paper version. In regards to a check deposit, you can mail to our office or work with the sales technician on a handoff that works best for you. Otherwise, you can call our office and pay your deposit over the phone via credit card.

Once we have received your signed contract and deposit, your project will be put into the scheduling queue in the order it was received. We will keep in contact with you as the dates either move forward or backward due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, increased scopes on other projects, and worker availability).

Execution– Accessing the roof from outside of your building will ensure safe distancing from you and your family or business. We will provide you with contact information for communication with our production team, sales technicians and office staff. Our roofing installers have been prepared and trained on the procedures for cleaning and distancing per the CDC’s recommendations. To further reduce contact, we will provide a sanitized portable toilet at every re-roof jobsite.

Completion & Payment– Upon completion, you will receive an email with an attached invoice for the remaining balance. At this time we will schedule our sales tech to inspect the installation. It is not necessary that you are present for this inspection, unless you choose to be. Regardless, we will contact you and go over any questions you may have. We accept credit cards for 1/3 of the project and require a check or cash for the balance.
